About Me

I have been creating art since I can remember. Whether it was crayons when I was old enough to hold them in my hands or writing music on guitar. Art is what I was made to do.

I have been painting in oils for twenty years. I was fortunate to have a teacher who pushed me into the world of oils. He encouraged me to not be afraid of taking risks in painting and to always push the envelope. He had faith in me as an artist which gave me faith in myself.

I love to paint, the smell of the oils, the feel of the brush on the canvas.  I enjoy every aspect of the process. The idea that you can take a substance like oil and create a picture still amazes me.

I have created this site to continue my journey of creating art. I thank you for spending time on my site.
